Six Sentence Sunday–Houston, we have a problem.

Published January 8, 2012 by Sandra Sookoo

After a few weeks away from Six Sentence Sunday, I’m back. Did anyone miss me? :-) Thanks for popping into the Believing is Seeing blog to read my snippets. I appreciate each and every one of you. Hope you enjoy my selection.

This week I’ve chosen a snippet from a re-imagined fairy tale FRACTURED that releases from Liquid Silver Books tomorrow.

Set-up: Hero Rick his crew have just crash-landed on a small moon outside of Saturn. While on a recon mission, one of the crew has gone missing.

Rick Keenan depressed the talk button on his handheld com-link. “Where are you?”

Another long period of static broke the response. “…castle… couldn’t see… Oh, my God!” The static gave way to a man’s terror-filled scream.

Rick’s gut clenched, but he said, “Be there as soon as we can.”

If you’d like to read the blurb, you can find it on my website.
