Hi all. Today starts a new series on my blog called Tuesday Teasers. From now until June 1st, authors will come onto the blog with a teaser excerpt and a cocktail recipe. After that we’ll move into summer snacks and then in the fall the features will be tailgating recipes. Hope you have fun with it
I’ll start things out with this little gem–a Kir Royale.
Ingredients
Chambord (black raspberry flavored liquor)
Champagne
Fresh raspberries
Directions: Put one tablespoon of the Chambord in a champagne flute. Pour in champagne. Float two raspberries on top. Enjoy!
And for my teaser. Since the Kir Royale is kinda classy, maybe drunk at a wedding, this excerpt is from PROPER WOMEN DON’T as part of the Hooked Up at the Wedding anthology: (Rating adult for content)
Along with the house, the grounds also sported an unbelievable pool, complete with tropical foliage displays and private cabanas. Delia smiled and closed her eyes. Who would fault her if her fingers decided to wander south of her border for some personal pleasure? After the day she’d endured, she needed the release. No one would catch her, especially in one of the blue-striped tents. Her pussy clenched in anticipation. Too bad there wasn’t a willing guy around for a quick hook-up.
Just another reason I’m glad this life’s not mine anymore.
Yeah, the South was a great place if you had scads of Old Money. If you didn’t, you got through college the best you could then took your pile of student loan debt and got the hell out. That’s what Delia had done, transplanting herself as far from the traditional way of life as she could get.
“Is this a private party or can anyone join you?” The deep, masculine voice skated over her skin and left goose bumps.
“Dude, she does have nice tits.” A second, baritone male voice came hard on the heels of the first.
Heated shivers lodged between her thighs. Delia snapped her eyes open and righted herself, the water once more closing over her shoulders as she paddled to the side. “Hey, Chase.” Chase Garrison was Kaelie’s older brother. Delia had grown up with him, and they’d dated a few years in college, but they’d drifted apart once she’d announced she had no intentions of sticking around Savannah after graduation.
“Hey. This is Jarod. One of the groom’s friends and a Coast Guard buddy of mine.”
“Hi, Jarod. Thanks for the compliment.” Her mouth watered at the sight of him, a black man who looked like he’d just stepped off a football field—solid, massive and chiseled. How much force would he command while pounding into her?
“I’m pretty fond of my boobs.” Beneath the water, she rolled a nipple between her thumb and forefinger. She suppressed a moan. God, I’d rather have his hands, his mouth, on me.
Blurb for PROPER WOMEN DON’T: Delia Latham’s back in Savannah for a friend’s wedding. Though she’s moved away from the life of tradition and snobbery, she’s always needed to tell her old beau—Chase—goodbye.
When Chase and his friend Jarod catch Delia unawares while she’s skinny dipping late at night, how can she refuse when he suggests a three-way hook-up? Proper women don’t do such things. Good thing she’s not one of them.

Recipe sounds delisious. So does the story.

Love the Themes for your blog. Very clever.
Will there be a drink book available – a compilation of all the beverages? I’d love that! I look forward to reading the book.
Smiles,
